Featured Massey Harris 102 #1 Gals in PA got hold of me to see if I could move along an old timer that was used on their farm near Trout Run, PA. They sent me some pics and info that I asked them to check out for me to make posting.  The serial tag is missing on engine belly, only rivet marks left, there is a anti-slip foot plate over the serial stamp down below the clutch, so can't see that either, under the rear transfer case are the numbers 02-24-44, checking against these numbers makes her 1944 102.  Engine is stuck as gals can't turn crank, tires are rough, but tractor is all there for a good start on restoration, nice narrow front.  Tractor posted as asking $800 but very willing to deal for less... but not give it away. There are also several other vintage farm implements they would like to part with... go in and make a deal on the lot. Featured Massey Harris 102 #2 Little scrap yard dog and garden patch worker, was on 90 acres of collectors yard potato and cuke farm, run potato seeder (2 row) digger (2 row) , bush hog and some other dirt turners, elderly gentleman passed away last fall and mom and son are moving all things along as life goes on. Quick starting and smooth running original black block engine, draw bar, good tires and a no frill tractor for the collectorto prime for show and shine.  Here are some pics.
